I have trained with all the trainers at Essex dog training and have had a great experience, we have been training here for almost 3 years and have had amazing support throughout in both agility and obedience with my puppy, helping with everything from at home with a puppy to now competing at agility with my dog x

We have been on only three 1-1 sessions with Emma & cannot believe how far our little Winnie has come since our 1st ever session! Emma is so lovely and it is so easy to understand what she is saying & how we can incorporate the training sessions into our daily lives. I love that she messages you after each session with videos & information on what we practised in the 1-1. Highly recommend & cant wait for our next sessions to come x

We have been with the club over 2 years now, I was new to dog agility and I was taught the basics and over the past years the staff have improved my ring skills by leaps and bounds and my dog absolutely adores agility and the staff. I found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable always quick to respond to any questions even if it's out of the normal office hours highly recommended

Attended for the first time on Wednesday, there were 3 other puppies on their second attendance since classes resumed. It was quite structured & I felt I learnt new techniques for training.

I first contacted and arranged a 1-1 with Emma 3 days after our little pup arrived and it was the best thing we could have done. She spent a couple of hours advising us on how to set up her own area, build a routine that fitted in with our family life, toileting & obedience. A few months later we enrolled on obedience training & we now have a well trained little cockapoo who is well socialised, excellent recall and walks to heel off lead & greets people in a loving appropriate way. Emma is very knowledgeable about issues affecting dogs, professional in the way she works and most importantly her methods work. She really loves dogs and is passionate about wanting to ensure all dogs reach and fulfill their potential. If you are considering getting a dog or have a dog which you want to train to be well behaved and responsive to your instructions I would highly recommend.

Had our first online session with Emma(be responsible- social distance, protect yourselves & the NHS), she was fantastic and very worth it! Our Weimaraner, Blue, is 18 weeks and such a lovely dog but needs training as she gets to excited and sometimes...destructive haha! But Emma knows exactly what’s she’s doing and has given us a solid foundation to work from and we are already seeing a few results on day one! Thanks Emma, Blue looks forward to continuing her training!

As first time dog owners we were nervous and had no idea where to start and who to trust with our Fifi. Emma made us feel relaxed and very comfortable with her approach, infectious enthusiasm, clearly with her love of dogs and knowledge of dogs inside out. Our pup is taking obedience, agility and trick classes and Emma has worked wonders in a very short space of time with her positive and supportive approach. She has helped us understand our pup's needs and how to enrich her life with fun training in our every day routine. She is now a much happier, better behaved dog who loves her training! And it's not just the dog, we are also learning how to be better dog owners. I would highly recommend Emma and the Essex Dog Training team to anyone who owns a dog and needs help with anything at all.
