Essex Dog Training - Rochford franchise is a local dog training business offering classes, 1-2-1 behaviour support, puppy welcome home plans and introduction to scent work workshops. Classes are limited in numbers to ensure owners and their dogs get the absolute best from their lessons.
Established in 2022 Emma, registered with the Institute of Animal Professionals is qualified in Canine behaviour, Psychology and Training through Compass education. She is also a registered scent work instructor offering K9 Scent and Search approved workshops giving dogs of all ages and abilities the opportunity to dive into the exciting world of nose work.
Since then, she has acquired an amazing reputation for delivering fun and joyful training, with the emphasis on it fitting into peoples’ busy lifestyles.
Her experience lies with owning large dog breeds however, she is equally comfortable working with our smaller fluffy pups. Emma specialises in a combination of positive reinforcement and concept training to teach not just obedience but the life skills that our dogs need to help them cope in our ever changing and busy worlds. All of which are force free helping clients understand their dogs in more depth and so enabling them to build great relationships with their dogs.

She and her husband Rob share many adventures with their 2 Rottweilers Rukiya and Bucky. Besides training obedience, tricks and scent work the family enjoy days out and camping.
Working with her local kennels, Ashingdon Heights Emma provides regular tool box talks helping to keep the teams knowledge up to date.
Emma has a diploma in dog training and behaviour and is also a certified concept trainer. She is currently studying a higher diploma in dog psychology.

Rob spent 13 years serving in the British Army finishing his career as Full Corporal Tank Commander. He continued his working career in the data centre industry in senior management and most recently as a Director of Data Centres.
Rob has owned dogs throughout his life and currently has 2 Rottweilers Rukiya and Bucky with Emma.
